The architectural study involved the planning of two independent houses on a narrow 220 sq.m site in Marousi.
The building is placed tangentially to the two lateral boundaries of the site so as lighting & ventilation are achieved through large openings in the north-south direction. An external staircase is designed to give access to the house on the first floor, assuring autonomy to each residence.
In the first house, the living areas & bedrooms are organized on the ground floor while a separate studio is located in a part of the basement, with direct access to the backyard and to the first floor through an internal staircase.
In the second residence, there is an internal loft overlooking the living room, thus contributing to the visual enlargement of the living area in the first floor of the house.
The loft hosts the office and the guest-room and through its small roof terrace offers a wonderful broad city view.
